Situated in Chaweng and with Central Festival Samui reachable within 500 m, Lub d Koh Samui Chaweng Beach. Chaweng Beach offers two outdoor swimming pools, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a garden. I finally found a hostel with that atmosphere, with the luxury of a hotel. My private room was really a hotel room. The service is very good, the staff speaks good English. Many things are organized every day to get to know people. I didn't need that at the time, that was fine too. On the beach, with swimming pool, close to many restaurants, bars (within walking distance) and the airport.

Attractively set in Chaweng, J4 Samui Hotel - SHA Plus features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. Budget hotel in the center of chaweng beach with direct beach access via the partnering Chaweng Garden Beach Resort, which offers very nice beach and pool facilities. These can be used by J4-guests and gives great value. The area is very well-maintained, clean and staff super friendly and helpful. The beach is probably the nicest of Ko Samui, bright fine sand. Lots of restaurants, bars, shopping center are in walking distance. The ARKbar Beach Club is next door. Please be aware of expecting street noise and music till late in the night. Some standard rooms are close to the side of the street or ARKbar, comfort garden rooms are little smaller, but seem to be more quiet. I chose the comfort garden room and I loved it with garden view and very little noises, so I could sleep very well every night without any disturbance or ear plugs. I paid 30€/night and in my case overall it was great value for money.

I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights at the end of May 2023 and everything went perfectly. All the staff is super helpful, especially May at the reception desk and Jack at the breakfast. Breakfast is complete and various. All the accommodation are in pristine condition and the all hotel is super clean. The fitness room with the A/C is a great plus.

Room - We booked the beachfront room with a private pool. We were NOT disappointed. The size of the room was perfect for the two of us. It had a single size bed in addition to the queen bed and we just used it as a luggage holder. The bathroom was huge. I’m not a bath person, but I’m sure bath people would love the big tub. The pool was the absolute best! It was a perfect temperature all the time and had a little seat area with jets like a hot tub on the edge facing the ocean. You can literally sit in the pool and look out at the ocean. It was really private too. The room is set up about 6 feet off the beach so people walking really can’t see you unless you are sitting in the lounge chairs near the wall. Service - The service was great! Everyone always had a smile and was eager to help. There was definitely a language barrier, but we all were patient with each other and tried our best and it all worked out. We had the front desk call us a taxi a few times and that was great. Food - The morning buffet breakfast was wonderful. I read some reviews of people complaining and I can’t figure out why. They had ample options from both Western and Eastern cultures. The fruit was always fresh and sweet. The eggs were made to order. It ran from 0630-1000, which is a huge time window to catch the early birds and those sleeping in. We also ate lunch at the restaurant. We had a bunch of different seafood dishes and they were all great! Location - We loved the location. We were south of central Chaweng, but we could walk or take a song tow. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance and the song tow was only 100 baht for 2 of us to get to central Chaweng. It was a perfect mix of quiet and access to the busy area. We didn’t bring the kids this trip, but we saw lots of families around enjoying the beach and restaurants. We will definitely consider bringing the kids next time.

It was clean and comfortable. It was very convenient as you could rent a bike at the property and get your laundry done. The staff also dropped us to our ferry for much cheaper than a taxi. 5 mins walk away from Baam gym for anyone who wants to keep fit while away. Overall for the price it was perfect.
