San Want Residences Taipei is a luxurious hotel located along Nanjing East Road, a 10-minute walk from Zhongshan MRT. I really enjoyed the city view and the bathroom facilities were wonderful. The bathroom features a Japanese style bath and a lovely selection of toiletries. The buffet style breakfast provided a lot of options. Overall a very comfortable stay. Although this was above my intended budget, this place is well priced compared to other hotels in the area.

Home to various street foods at night markets and great shopping paradise! lots of nice places to explore especially the New Taipei areas like Danshui(one of my fav), Jiufen, Shifen and etc It is easy to commute around with the well rounded MRT (jieyuen in Chinese) and people are super friendly here!

We spent a total of 4 days in Taipei area; 2 in Xinbeitou and 2 in downtown Taipei. We joined a half day guided bus tour of the city which was very good, our guide, Thomas, spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable. Travelling by MRT was great, quick, easy and inexpensive. Taipei is very spread out so it is not easy to walk. We went to Shilin night market - very impressive. We also liked Tower 101 and the Din Tai Fung restaurant!

People working at the hotel are amazing! So friendly and helpful I felt like at hone. The location close to a small park with a pond with fish and birds. Close to everything you need. The restaurant is fantastic, great breakfast and dinner.

They provided a place to store our luggage when we arrived before check-in time and also prepared a bed for our infant upon request. The staff were very helpful and one was exceptionally friendly to our young infant. Everything is clean and tidy and looks to be recently furnished.
