Set in Cat Ba, 700 metres from Cat Co 1 Beach, Phoenix Flower Hotel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Comfortable beds! Also the shower was seperate! Right in the busy area of Old Hanoi Quarter so there are lots of restaurants, bars, shops, etc around. Easy access for transfers to pick you up as it's right by the main road. But no noise from road. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony, so nice! They also offer affordable transfers to the airport and other tours.

This hotel was the best hotel we stayed in in Vietnam. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. It has laundry service, motorbike rental, tour booking etc. for good prices. The room is very clean and cozy and the rain shower is such a bliss after a lot of questionable bathroom experiences. The location is great as well, close to a lot of restaurants and bars along the same street.

This was the perfect stay in Cat Ba. It was a very short 5 minute walk to the center but was in a quiet street away from the noise. The rooms were very quiet and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good and plentiful. Jenny was absolutely amazing. One of the kindest and most helpful hosts I’ve met in Vietnam. She booked an overnight cruise in Lan Ha bay for me as well as a half day trip to Cat Ba National park. If you are in cat ba I highly recommend this place!!

Friendly and helpful host with great English as well. It’s a bit out of town but it’s well worth it for its “country side” ambience. It’s also only 15 min scooter ride in to town and 6 min to Cat Ba National Park. My partner and I had a private room and it was very spacious and came with its own bathroom.

The staff is amazing. From the first moment I felt so welcomed. If I had any questions they would know the answers or help me to the right tools. The hostel itself is very modern (it just openend) and clean. The beds are good and the toilets and shower are nice (and seperated from eachother). In the evening they have a happy hour when you get free beer at the pool bar. We had lots of fun! I only booked one night but that quickly became two because I had a great time ☺️

Incredible spot, in the middle of the woods surrounded by nature. The cabin was facing the lake, if available, I would strongly recommend that option, it is worth the money. Staff was super helpful and nice. They booked everything for us at a very good price and provide guidance for the different trekkings. Swimingpool was great, clean and chill water, sun beds and also towels so you don’t need to bring yours from the bedroom.
