This property is managed by a lovely couple, Sam and Jackie. Service at this beach front property/resort was exceptional. Food was probably the best we had during our island hopping trip in Thailand. We booked several tours with Lanta Palace - a snorkel tour and Elephant Sanctuary Tour. The Staff was incredibly helpful and efficient in booking these for us - esp since we booked last minute. Rooms were gorgeous with high ceilings, amazing wood art work doors and chandeliers to offer a spectacular design experience in your room. There is a small town within walking distance which we didn't check out but would have loved to walk around more if we had time. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone wanting an elevated experience!

Baan Chainarong in Koh Lanta is a great find. The people running the place are super friendly, making you feel at home despite a few language hiccups. Sorting that out is easy, though. The rooms are modern, well-kept, and just the right size. Beds are big and comfy, and there's a handy fridge. The air conditioning keeps things cool. The best part is the chill pool area with sunbeds – a perfect spot to relax. They do laundry for a decent 50 baht per kilo and rent out scooters for 250 baht daily. Situated by the main road, it's peaceful with light traffic and the hum of insects. A quick two-minute scooter ride takes you to Old Town Lanta, a cute area with shops and restaurants, giving off a laid-back vibe. For more action, a 15-minute scooter ride gets you to the lively west coast with bars, restaurants, beaches, and diving schools. Baan Chainarong is one of our top spots for a relaxed island getaway – totally recommended.

I can't say enough good things about Sea Shell. Run by a family where multiple generations joyfully work alongside one another, you feel like a family guest more than a hotel guest. The place feels pure, gentle, kind, and joyful. It is like Little House on the Prairie but in Thailand in the 21st century and the family business is hospitality. The rooms are simple, but super clean and have all you need. The place is small/boutique (only ten bungalows or so) and it is right on the beach so serene breakfasts await you in the morning and sublime sunsets at night. Last but not least, I loved the food. I ate almost every meal here during my three week stay. My favorite? The chicken pad thai. Oh, and the wifi is super strong, which is important for me as a digital nomad. So, huge praise for this place. I've been a nomad for three years now and only sublime escapes in Slovenia rivals the genuine kindness and hospitality I experienced at Sea Shell. I give it my highest possible recommendation.

Everything. The rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped. Especially the bathroom was exceptionally good. The bed was great aswell. The pool was wonderful, had the perfect temperature and was always a good addition to our experience here. The whole location with all of the plants and the clean and friendly atmosphere was the perfect location for us. All members of the staff were so friendly and helpful all the time. We rented a scooter from them, perfectly fine also. We would definitely stay here again a 100%.

Pana resort is a perfect place for a relaxed and very comfortable stay, 2 min. walk to lovely Long Beach with beautiful sunsets. The bungalow was cozy, clean, quiet, very good bed, water cooker, fridge, good shower, and a nice terrace. The Pana family are all super friendly, nice, and help you to organize any excursion, trip, transfer, or rent of a vehicle perfectly. You soon feel like belonging to the family. This resort is absolutely fantastic. The houses are spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, all equipment is new and good quality. The pool and garden are beautiful and very well mantained. It's a 3 minute walk to main street with restaurants etc, and 10 min to the beach with many beach bars where you can hang out all day. The stff is very friendly and helpful if you need to organize a tour, transfer or taxi. The place is very quiet, great for relaxing. In the night you hear only the crickets and other "jungle sounds" which creates a great atmosphere. The place exceeded my expectations, I strongly recommend it.
