Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe kitchen could have been bigger but was adequate for the limited cooking you are likely to do on a visit. We had to ask for toilet paper and dish washer tablets, because in fact our stay was longer than two days - you can read our review of our other three days at the hotel on this site, as well.
The aparthotel is brilliantly located within an easy walk to Dijon city centre. It is also near to the canal and river, with a lovely walk possible down to the lake. The rooms were clean and the staff helpful, and generally friendly.

United KingdomOnly downside was the car park was flooded and couldn't use the lift because of this, but not really the hotels fault.
Perfect location, lovely room which had a kitchen and fridge. Very clean, easy walk to the town centre. Parking was secure. Staff very friendly would stay there again.

United KingdomThe kitchenette is a little cramped and you wouldn't want to prepare a major meal in it. That said it's perfectly adequate for a short stay.
The apartments are within easy walking distance of the city centre and have private parking. Dijon is a fascinating city if you like art and architecture and has some first rate restaurants. It also has upmarket shopping - though that's not our 'thing'. Staff are helpful and many attractions lie around the city, within an hour's car journey. Especially interesting if you are fond of wine and - of course - mustard!

RussiaThe couch had a PU leather or similar fabric with a rubbery feel - not the most comfortable to sit/lay on.
The hotel location was fine, just a short walk (10-15 mins) to the historical city center, very close to the "Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie et du Vin" The studio was very clean and tidy with a well-equipped kitchen area. Pet-friendly, convenient spacious parking. Smooth check-in and helpful staff.

United KingdomCouldn’t get in the car park as we had a roof box on our car. But there is a really big car park around the corner that was very secure. Only €11 for 24hours was no problem.
Great location. Like brand new, lovely clean rooms with a kitchen and eating area. Very comfortable. Location was fantastic for the city. Staff on reception were very friendly and helpful.

RomaniaAs it is an aparthotel, I have expected that there would be no cleaning during the entire stay. However, I did not expect to not receive more shampoo and toilet paper for a longer stay (9 days). I admit, I didn't ask for more at the reception, as it was no big deal.
The property is modern and provides very good accommodation and kitchen facilities (for preparing simple and fast meals). There is air conditioning and a safe. WiFi was also very good. Comparing to other hotels in Dijon, the studios here are large enough for one or two persons. It is also relatively close to the tram station, which was important for me to be able to access rapidly the meetings place (business trip).

The residhome is new so the deco is lovely and modern. The rooms had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had a family suite - two televisions, equipped kitchen area, bathroom with hairdryer. The beds were comfy, even the sofa bed and the bedding was great. We also appreciated the parking (10 euros and we were allowed to stay in it until 6pm even though we checked out at noon). Near to a park, places to eat, and ten minutes' walk from the centre so very convenient location and great to just leave the car in a safe place and go everywhere by foot.

SpainThe cleanliness must be improved! At first glance everything seems clean but attention to detail is missing. Plenty of dust on the skirting boards Spots on the walls, some dirty dishes and bed protector put the way I had to redo the bed. Also the lift doors were dirty…
Grate location, 10 min walk from the old town. In front of the park. Comfortable bed, room cosy and warm.

FranceBreakfast too expensive for a family, however lots of smaller shops to discover or enjoy breakfast in comfort of your own apartment.
Location is 15mins walk to centre Dijon, 2 mins by tram outside hotel. Hotel has generous apartment room size and balcony, practical small kitchen. Small fitness equipment but practical. Right next door to Gastromomie Food Exhibition and shops (Burgundy food and wine region). Excellent stay for family.
