Parking, Reception, Bar and Breakfast facilities and Staff all excellent Room was spacious, comfortable and Bed and Sheets excellent Will definitely visit this or other Future Inn hotels again

The sanitary bin in the bathroom hadn’t been emptied from previous guest, the toilet brush was disgusting and needed replacing & the skirting boards needed attention.

Location wasn’t what I expected, was a little industrial. Breakfast was very good, chef was out checking regularly to make sure fresh food was laid out. Tables were cleared quickly and efficiently.

For a 4 star, the View was not so great, no pool or gym etc, toilet roll very thin and wifi unpredictable.

There was hairs all around the wall tiles in the bathroom like it had been moped with a dirty mop and out room key kept stopping working so had to go reception

Breakfast was so good, so much to choose from the hot buffet and continental ,the location was great close to mermaid Quay and the bay docks, loads of restaurants within walking distance and 10 minute journey into cardiff centre

Our keys didn't work first time around. There were special cocktails for the bruce Springsteen concert but no one told us what was in them

Curtains- in both rooms although were blackouts but they left tiny gap between them when completely... Could provide more ceiling lighting... The lamps were lovely but sometimea they cannot be enough esp. With family travel. No room slippers provided.

Staff at the reception. Hotel & rooms were clean for sure, bed & bedding were perfectly comfy, ample space in the bedroom plus in the adjoining sitting room,Bathroom & the essentials there were clean. The clean heated towel rail was a plus. Hair dryer (noisy but time saving,better than the ones in many hotels ), ironing facility and storage provided were clean & practical not flimsy kind.. TVs in both the rooms, comfortable furniture & arrangement in the living room. Ample storage in both the rooms. Breakfast buffet selection & quality was perfectly suitable for child & adults visiting.

There weren't any towels in our room when we first arrived (but they were quick to supply some). The chairs in reception were on the low side, I have mobility problems and found them difficult to use.

All staff were courteous and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble when we had a problem or needed something explaining. It was good they recycled. The air conditioner was great, it worked! Kept the room nice and cool. We had 2 free bottled water and biscuits, replenished daily, which was a nice bonus. Most hotels only have 1 chair but there was 1 chair and an armchair (which I used for dozing). The beds were very comfortable, with a nice firm mattress. Very nice hotel.

Safe was broken

We were going to a concert at Utilita Arena and this hotel said it was a 10 minute walk, it was more like 20! Thankfully it wasn't raining!

Buffet not much options

Wonderful stay, right by the bay. We we're there to visit family who live by the docks which is close by 5 min drive. We had a suit which was suitable as we have a toddler who loves running around so there was enough space, room was clean, on 3rd floor at the front of the hotel so had view of our car parked in the car park. We had a few issues with he room card which was sorted after a third time goin to reception. The breakfast wasn't that great it was buffet style not much choice for us. We're a young couple so there was loads of places to eat close by and a bowling alley literally by the hotel. Lovely stay I would defo go back.

Internet is not good Bedrooms are looking dated and need a revamp Bed not comfortable very hard, and pillows have seen better days We had to wait for our room to be ready even though checkin is from 3 One of the lifts was out of service for one of the days

It will be nice to provide a fridge in evey room not only the suite . People will be travelling from long way and it will be nice to keep medication etc .
