How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Rooms were so small and if you are 6 foot plus tall like me it’s very tough after eventually getting suitcases in through the door ….after having beautiful suites in various Greek hotels whilst on holiday for less than half the price this was not easy for two people ….bathroom also very small Room was not the cleanest

The room was hot. I couldn't control the temperature, only the blower. I tried sleeping with the window open but the planes were too loud. I shut it and then was hot all night.
The location to the airport and price were amazing. The rooms were very clean.

No easy access to smoking corner at the back after 7pm. The bed was very uncomfortable. Lots of very noisy adolescents in public areas on Friday. Limited menu and very pricy.
Breakfast was good…plenty of choices and kept hot. The volume of the Tv in bar/lounge was turned up (/on request ) to watch the FA Cup final. The food service was prompt and tasty.

The location is a bit further from the airport than I’d like and the rooms somewhat uninspiring however it would not stop me retuning.
All the staff we interacted with were courteous helpful and well presented from Sydney who checked us in early, the bar and restaurant staff and the maintenance guy who fixed the tv .

Like the whole of that area it’s very expensive for taxis (£20 for 2 min taxi- given your tired from travel too) and also the food was expensive but not great quality.
Great place to stay with friendly staff. Super close to the airport so perfect for an overnight stay before or after travel.

Cleanliness, quality of food...but it is a budget hotel.
Airport hotels, sheesh, you need them if you have an early start. The room was ok, the carpet in the hallway has seen better days and looked grimy. The food wasn't stellar but the staff were all very helpful.

Rooms a little tired and dated but good size and nice bathroom. Would stay again for a night when travelling from Heathrow.
Reasonable price, parking easy and inexpensive compared to other hotels on Bath Road. Nice bar and restaurant area.

The guest checking in before me took ages to process but I assume that wasn't the hotel's fault. Maybe hotels should have express lines for guests who have fully arranged accommodation online and, effectively, only need to be allocated a room and collect a key? My mobile network signal in my room was patchy at best.
Obviously, very convenient for LHR. Most things worked smoothly. I would consider staying again.

Getting to the hotel after landing at Heathrow. What a very clumsy shuttle system Hoppa Bus is. Hotel did send an email with some info, not very helpful to determine where exactly the shuttle was leaving from. Once found it was not the most comfortable spot. Guess being used to nice free shuttle services from hotels doesn't apply in the UK?
Excellent location, smooth check in process. No issues with requesting a late check-out. Lovely to find a personalised handwritten welcome note with mini muffins. Ever so cute.
