Swimming pool locker - We need to go with one rupee coin if we want to store any valuable. People leave the locker open with their belongings as most people not aware one pound is needed. Management can provide coins to the guests while giving towels in reception or change it to number lock if needed to increase the customer satisfaction or inform about this requirement to the customers while booking swimming sessions. Room - I felt the room is less spacious to walk around because of making the sofa as bed.

Sauna - the best Gym - Very good Food - Very good but expensive Room - Great facilities and toiletries. Customer Service - Excellent

No cream based shower gel or body lotion, shower head was not adjustable, no towel drying rack in bathroom for drying them, no hot chocolate for kids.no 3 pin car charging sockets. Reception team not very friendly.

I could not check in at 2 pm on arrival because the system wasn’t working. I couldn’t wait because I was going on to see my brother at Heron Lifege, he has dementia . My nephew was giving me a lift. When I got back at 5pm there was only one room left- not on a high floor as requested. The only room available was the wheelchair accessible nearest to reception. This was quite noisy ! When I went to the bar they had no white wine available- I’ve never known any hotel around the world not have white wine!

The location is perfect for visiting my brother who lives at Heron Lodge in Stantonbury.

I’d asked for the sofa bed to be made up and it wasn’t. Gorgeous the second time there was an issue with payment. I had paid the night before on the booking .com app and the hotel said I hadn’t paid which was inconvenient and embarrassing.

Arrived at 10pm and realised my booking had not been completed by me. There was no problem. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. We got a lovely, fresh family room with no hassle. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. We did not avail of the breakfast but it looked good. Safe parking on site.

We were very happy with our stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was lovely and clean. All the food was nice. Unfortunately very limited gluten free options and very expensive for dinner. But all was very good overall.

Room needs updating. The thermostat cover wasn’t fixed properly and fell off. The shower area was small and awkward to use. The toiletries and toilet paper seemed cheap.

The hotel from the outside was more akin to a hostel. Which is unfortunate, because when you walk through the doors it is a completely different atmosphere, very warm & welcoming.

The hotel feels quite dated with pebble dash ceilings and walls in the room. The breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing for the price. The lack of plugs and a working TV were also a bit irritating.

Some of the TV channels didn't work the kids channels to be more specific.

The room was clean and comfortable the later check out of 12pm was also a big plus for us all! The reception staff ensured our group had rooms next to each other which was brilliant and I loved that there were lots of other families there with children, the hotel felt very child friendly. Pool sauna and gym are all a great addition to this hotel, there is a booking system but this is easily done at reception, it was busy when we was there however kids and the adults had a great time all the same!
