Hotel in Porthmadog
This independently owned, 2 AA Rosette-winning home-from-home is the only hotel in Porthmadog. This is an older, more traditional style of hotel, but personally I prefer that. The facilities were all that one would expect of a modern hotel (except that there isn't a lift). The hotel is on the main street in the centre of town, but they had their own car park, so parking my car was easy. My room was very nice, and quite spacious. The en-suite was a good size. The bed was very comfy, with nice big pillows. I had a drink in the bar (local beer - very good) and ate in the restaurant on both nights of my stay and was very pleased. The "head waiter" was particularly good - very efficient and friendly, without being over the top. The other staff were also very efficient and the food was very good. The breakfast was also very nice.

Excellent location, staff were lovely. Really happy with our stay here. Would recommend!
Location is beautiful. Lodge is gorgeous and the land has a slight incline to an elevated view of the sea and beautiful sunset! Everything you could wish for to hand at the lodge. Comfort, stylish, beautiful gardens, great place for families
Marc as a host was super friendly and was trying to help me with some tips for nice walks in the area, as I didn’t have a car there. The hotel was exeptionally clean and peaceful, the first hotel in years in which I was able to sleep without ear plugs. Breakfasts were nice. The room had everything I could need, I especially appreciated makeup removers, which are not usual in hotels. It was a very pleasant stay. The owners really care.
Everything about the place was absolutely fabulous.
The room was comfortable and clean. Great location to the beach and not far to work from train station.
Everything - the location was stunning, the house was outstanding - the hosts were lovely
Great location. Loads of space outside. Friendly host. All good
Great location and wonderful view from top floor apartment. Very comfortable, clean, well furnished apartment and kitchen.
A super clean apartment with LOVELY hosts. It is a nice family run B&B with an awesome host who is super friendly. I would stay there anytime again and can recommend highly. They are really thoughtful and cleaned the rooms daily. Breakfast is served like a restaurant and they really care about your wellbeing. One of the best B&B's I have stayed in my life.
Return trip for our first anniversary, we originally stayed in 2019 and came back for our first wedding anniversary. They sorted out us staying in the same room, everything was as perfect as the first time we stayed.
