The hotel is situated on the hill top with beautiful views on Tuscany, surrounded by park and forest. It is beautiful, big hotel, consists of many buildings/wings. There is a pool, restaurant, and breakfast is held also outside on the terrace with amazing view. The breakfast is rich, various options also for vegan, gluten free or other diets. Room was beautiful, stylish, big, clean with coffee machine and with the balcony overlooking the valley. Very helpful and friendly staff, free parking is available but it is quite difficult to find it at first (especially in the evening). It was really an amazing stay.

Hotel Restaurant La Lanterna is situated in a quite area, few minutes from the historical centre of this pleasant town in the Garfagnana region. Last week, while traveling to Tuscany, my wife and I lost ourselves in the Castelnuovo di Garfagnana surroundings. It was getting dark, and we couldn't find a hotel or even a place to park our car. After getting a tip from a gentle lady nearby La Lanterna Hotel, I decided to book a room for us through Booking.com without even getting more information about the hotel. What a pleasant surprise we had when we finally managed to get to the place! Massimo, who manages the place and met us at the reception is probably one of the nicest guys we had the chance to meet during our time in Italy. Super friendly and extremely polite and attentive. To be 100% honest, all the hotel staff was so nice to us, and the hotel facilities were so great that my wife and I ended up regretting having planned our stay there for only one day. To Massimo and all the La Lanterna staff, our most sincere thanks! Castelnuovo di Garfagnana is the place of birth of my great-great-grandfather, and a lovely small Tuscan city recommended to all those travelers looking for peace, tranquility, and beautiful Italian landscapes. We left the La Lanterna Hotel hoping to return there as soon as possible! Thanks again, Massimo! A presto! 🇮🇹

Set in Corfino, 50 km from Abetone/Val di Luce, Hotel Panoramico offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The location is incredible, the village is half way up in the mountain and it was nice and cool in the middle of the summer. The view is amazing as, being perched half way up, you see the slopes of the maritime alps and the sea. Food is exceptional both in quality and quantity so we absolutely recommend, if you are in doubt, book the dinner and save space. Staff was really amazing, my husband was in grutches and they made it possible to be located next to the elevator.
