Whitehills
Whitehills was the perfect location for us to explore this area of Aberdeenshire/Morayshire. The hotel is tucked away in the middle of town, with several options for sitting/dining, a well stocked bar and a lovely garden with covered and play areas. Breakfast was great, with lots of options, and the one dinner we had was fine, so we can't comment on the menu further. Our room was large, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The tea tray was welcome and well provisioned. All staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful.
It’s in a great location for visiting Aberdeenshire and the hotel is a fabulous place to stay. Our rooms were great, spacious with all the amenities you would expect from a great hotel. The breakfasts are varied and a great selection. We stayed for 3 nights and had dinner at the hotel each night and everyone enjoyed the food it was first class, the portions are really big but you do get a choice of full portions or smaller. I would definitely recommend this place and we will definitely be back
Comfortable, very good food, good, helpful and friendly staff, a very enjoyable 4 night stay at the Davron. The restaurant was very good value for the menu choice and quality of the meals and drinks, service was excellent on all 4 nights, the breakfast menu and service was also excellent. We would recommend this hotel as an excellent venue for touring north-east Aberdeenshire. There is plenty to discover within a 1 hour drive radius.
Ellon
Staff friendly and helpful..had the hotel mainly to ourselves and few patrons in at night at the restaurant/bar. Food was tasty and couldn't fault it and breakfast in morning was delicious..thanks to lovely waitress who greeted us every morning with a smile and was very efficient. Hotel walking distance from Seal beach and great for base to sightsee/tour Speyside/Aberdeenshire.
The staff are the best staff I've ever encountered. anywhere. Really nice people, very helpful and friendly. Aberdeenshire people tend to be a bit lke that, but I think the manager comes from London and there are a couple of other Nationalities. However, whether it is the training, or just the staff themselves they get an A+++ from me! Also, the meals are always very good calue for money.
My wife and I spent a lovely two nights at this hotel whilst exploring Aberdeenshire. This hotel is more for business people and probably oil rig workers and is not a holiday destination. However, having said that, management and staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well run despite Covid restrictions. Thank you one and all for making our stay very welcoming.
Cruden Bay
This was a wonderful B&B! Very tastefully decorated and so many thoughtful extras. Comfortable beds and a superb breakfast. If you are anywhere near this lovely part of Aberdeenshire I can't imagine a better place to stay for such a reasonable rate. We were there in May and I still have such fond memories of this stay. Ginny was an exceptional hostess.
Fettercairn
The Burnside Apartment is cosy and well-appointed, with a well-equipped kitchen and lots of pleasing decorative touches. The hosts left a basket of goodies in the kitchen for our arrival. They are friendly and approachable and clearly keen for their guests to have a good time. Fettercairn is an attractive Aberdeenshire village well worth a wander around.
Banff
Superb apartment right on the sea front with spectacular views. Well equipped with everything you would need. Nice welcome pack to start your stay. A good base for exploring the Aberdeenshire coast. Believe me once you stay here you'll find it hard to leave!!!
Really nice little Hotel with the hospitality you come to expect from Aberdeenshire folk, who are very freindly. I had a meal both nights and it was excellent, as was the breakfast. Veyr nice, freidnly staff who made you welcome.
Redgarth is an exceptional local hotel and restaurant in Aberdeenshire. The room was lovely with a great view, the staff and host were superb and the food excellent. Also, a great location for seeing the great sites in the area.
Hotel is very clean and in the main staff are pleasant and quite friendly. Shower is very good. Aberdeen is a great place and scenery around Aberdeenshire spectacular Highland and coastal delights.
Inverurie
Beautiful hotel in a stunning location in Aberdeenshire
lots of character, but very modern at the same time. We ate in a cave! Food and service were fantastic
The location of the hotel with view of the North Sea is beautiful. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The evening meal was also wonderfully prepared. The room is spacious and the facilities are very good. Thanks.
We had a wonderful stay at the Balmoral Arms. Ou room (a junior suite) was beautiful, definitely worth the upgrade as we wanted something a bit special. Everything is clean and seems recently renovated but it hasn't lost its charm. The food was fantastic, we really liked being able to eat in the pub as our dog was allowed to join us there and we liked the atmosphere better than the restaurant area anyway. The staff were kind enough to set up breakfast for us in the lounge every day so our dog could join us there too. When they say they're dog friendly at this place they really mean it! We felt so welcome and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay. We hope to be back some day!
Love the fun decor, the incredibly friendly staff and the beautiful riverside location.
It has everything a family needs , The place is beautiful
