Situated 1.6 km from Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, Motel 6 Mammoth Lakes offers guest parking and free WiFi. The young woman who checked us in was most kind and helpful. I really appreciated the extra effort she made to make our stay a good one. The rooms were very clean and convenient. This is probably one of the best Motel 6's I've stayed in. Thank you.

Whitney Portal Hotel And Hostel is located in Lone Pine 20 km from the Whitney Portal Store and the Mt. Whitney trailhead. This hostel and hotel provides free WiFi. Being this a hostel, we expected the very minimum, but it offered more then some fancy hotels we stayed at. Great value for money. Receptionists very kind and helpful. Fridge and table in the room, space for your luggage, coffee machine available. Easy parking. Great surroundings, near the Alabama Hills. All much appreciated.
